Police Arrest Man Allegedly Breaking In House To Wear Under

Definitely a strange story

VACAVILLE, Calif. -- Vacaville police arrested a man Friday for allegedly breaking into someone's home, wearing the resident's underwear and masturbating.

A neighbor was looking after a home where the suspect was found inside. The neighbor spotted the suspect who then grabbed a towel and left, according to the Police Department.

Detectives identified Garland Viertal, 43, as the suspect and believed the sole purpose of allegedly breaking into the home was to commit a crime to further sexual gratification, police said.

Viertal was taken into custody without incident and booked in Solano County Jail, police said.
